All members of the community are welcome to attend our mini-courses, special events and lecture series.

All lecture series offered by The Center are free and open to the public. These bring scholars, 作者, and experts in their field to our campus on a range of topics, such as our Art in the Evening series, our annual Autism lectures, and lectures from our partners at the University of Pennsylvania’s Middle East Center, among many others. We ask you to register in advance so we have an accurate count and can reserve space to accommodate all, but you may also register at the lecture.

Topics in History Courses

Some of our lecture series are tied to 15-week Topics in History courses that include attendance at each lecture plus college-credit-bearing classes taught by tenured CCC professors. Past topics have included The Gilded Age and The World of Islam. These courses are available to community members and are tuition free.

We offer single events like our annual Constitution Day lecture, annual Lorenzi Lecture, or film screenings. These are typically also free and always open to the public. There is a fee for fundraising events, including dinner and entertainment.

The Center sponsors walking tours of Haddonfield and Philadelphia as well as tours of historic and cultural sites like Red Bank Battlefield in New Jersey, Winterthur Museum in Delaware, and the Tenement Museum in 纽约 City. There is sometimes a charge for tours that might include entrance fees and transportation. However, our Art on Campus walking tours are free.

Each semester – fall, 春天, and summer – we bring you a menu of five-week courses taught by experienced instructors in the areas of arts, 文学, 历史, 科学, 健康, 政治, 人类学, 和更多的.
